Saving Lives In The Forest

Help the Kamēnawa People of the Amazon
A New Truck for the Jaguar People

Deep in the Amazon rainforest of Acre, Brazil, the Kamēnawa people carry one of the oldest living traditions on Earth. When someone gets sick or needs urgent care, there is no vehicle to reach the hospital. We are raising funds for a brand new Toyota Hilux truck. This is not charity. This is reciprocity.

The Jaguar Lineage

Paka Kamēnawa is a healer, singer, and guardian of the sacred traditions of the Jaguar lineage. Initiated from birth into the living wisdom of the Amazon, he carries ancestral songs that are used for healing, ceremony, and the renewal of life. In recent years, Paka has brought these living transmissions to Bali, Thailand, and Europe... not as performance, but as medicine. When he returns to the Amazon, he returns to a village where the forest is intact, the ceremonies are alive... and a truck is still needed.

No vehicle. No way to town. They had no choice but to turn back.

When cultural traditions weaken, forests fall. When cultural identity strengthens, forests stay alive.

The forest is alive. The songs are alive. The people carrying them are alive... and they need our support right now.
